Arnold clark ford linwood are joke put car in for service other week wanted them to check my heated driver seat not working they want me to pay 75 quid to vauxhall cause they cant do it properly why sell cars if u cant do the right job on them for a start then car comes back later on after service thats fone check it service book not filled in computer on car says oil still at 5% but heres the best bit guy on my shop next day i yes can i help u oooo sorry mr balfour heres your locking nuts they weren't even in my car the technician left in the garage joke what am i paying a 2 year service mot and 2 year warranty for wish i never stepped foot in that place nothing but hassle since i went in there 1 half lesson learned never use Arnold Clark never buy a warranty or mot service cause its never done right

Absolute disgrace bought a car weeks ago. It gearbox failed then tensioner pully and when i picked car up the front bumper was hanging off, which they are denying that they broke, drove the car away and tracking was off, gearbox is worse that it was before, front wheels knocking, opened the bonnet and the oil pressure switch was not connected because they left it hanging on the exhaust and has melted.also brake carriers are loose it has been back to garage 3times since buying it. And every time get i back it has another fault-and still not fixed. The car has run out of 60day drive away warranty now and they’re refusing to fix the faults. The customer care is none existent staff are rude and told me they were cancelling insurance on courtesy car if it wasn’t returned in there time scale, and i had to drive nearly 2 hours to get there,leave my work early. have spoken to finance regarding this but will be contacting others absolute disgrace.

Drive The Night Away Promotion what a joke . Contacted the local Shiremoor branch asking about a test drive in a Focus , told from the not so helpful salesman ( probably on a training course ) to come up . Finished work early arrived on time to be sat down with a different salesman . Looked at the stock , then arranged to go out for the drive ..... salesman looked outside , it was raining and dark so he couldn’t be bothered . No test drive , no hotel stay . Very Poor Service . Won’t be considering using your services again . Rather go to a Company who knows how to look after their customers .

Oh well here we go again, I stupidly bought a car from Arnold Clark, had a few small problems none of which were covered by their warranty, drivers window stopped working, went to see if this was covered by warranty, it was, so I put car in to get fixed, new window regulator fitted, went to pick car up cost £368 they forgot to mention that my warranty had run out by a week, which was about the length of time I waited to get my car booked in, so next car went to Ness Motors in Perth excellent customer service and after care, 3 years later Ness Motors bought by Arnold Clark, here we go phoned on Wednesday last week as had a Service light on, and then on way home got an injection fault also, booked car in for Friday morning for service and to get injection fixed, and booked courtesy car, went to Perth dropped car off Friday am, no courtesy car got a Kangoo van instead, no charge just put fuel in it, turned it on fuel warning light lit (typical) . I phoned Friday pm for an update, car needed new sensor £240, ok asked about cost of Service, oops they had not booked it in for a service, hard to believe they missed it as bright orange fault light should have given them a clue. Anyway no parts so car would be serviced and repaired Monday, phoned Monday PM for an update told to come and get car 5pm, turned up 20 to 5, oh Mr Johnston was just away to phone you to let you know car is not ready, and a small list of minor defects picked up on the service, note how many times i contacted them, not once did they contact me, now have wasted time and fuel driving through rush hour traffic to be told car will not be ready until tomorrow, raging. Negligence, incompetence, call it what you want, just a complete lack of customer care, amazed that they get any customers at all. Disgusted again, what an absolute joke of a company this is.
