I'm frankly disgusted with the service I've had from Hyundai recently. I bought a 2nd hand ix35 with 6 mo the manufacturer warranty left. I went into a dealer about a month before expiry (I have a very busy lifestyle and didn't get the opportunity before this) with s few problems with the radio/Bluetooth/sat nav unit. I was told this was covered by warranty and updating the software will fix the problem. As the problem was intermittent it took me around a month to realise that this hadn't fixes the problem, by which point my warranty had expired. In the mean time, my reversing camera has stopped working (it did so immediately after it came out the workshop but I thought it was teething problems from the parking sensors being replaced after a recall, not realising the 2 things are not connected). I've now been told none of this will be covered because I didn't buy my car from a Hyundai dealer. Disgusting! My issues were diagnosed as warranty items but the 'fix' didn't work, and my car came out the shop with worse problems than it went in with! I've read on many forums that the camera issue is a known fault and should be recalled - why has it not been? Another issue I've been advised is a known manufacturer problem via many forums is the steering wheel paint peeling, which mine had when I bought it having done 27000 miles. I want to know what you intend to do to resolve this as these are warranty issues but I spent so long trying to get a response from the dealer that it's taken me 3 months to get a response from Hyundai direct. This has cost you my service in future - I fully intended on buying a 2nd hand service pack from you going forward but I do not want to give you more money for you to dodge my issues. I'm seething at the service I've had over the last 4 months.

Hi there as I have recently ordered a new Ioniq EV and have been quoted an 8 month wait for delivery of the car can you outline what steps you are taking to increase production to meet demand? I was ready to complete purchase straight away and very disappointed to hear I'll have to continue driving my diesel engined car for so much longer. Thank you.

I think SG Petch and Hyundai at Darlington are an absolute disgrace ! Just had to collect two disabled customers from there because they did not have funds for a curtesy car !! No fault of their own because they bought a car from you that is broke ! I’m relieved it’s under warranty ! Yet there was no help support or common sense that these people would need to get home which was over 24 miles away. Seems this company are happy to treat people in the most disturbing and insulting manner!! All for the sake of £50 which sad as it is these supposed valued customer just did not have. In stead they had to wait for a lift with the promise to pay £40 when they have the funds. So not only treated like rubbish but placed into financial difficulty because YOUR car is broke !!! #shoutouttojobsworths
